Akin to lifestyle apps like Duolingo for language and MyFitnessPal for dieting, MyWorld offers a play-to-earn rewards mobile app with the goal to help users meet a more sustainable lifestyle. Users are awarded points for eco-friendly deeds, which can be exchanged into real-world perks, and in doing so are making karma a reality.
The app is an evolvement of MyTrees after its mission found scope to expand and greaten its ambitions. Despite being green in the field, the app has amounted over 60,000 users and targets both consumers and brands alike. Whilst serving a good cause, MyWorld taps into the growing market of sustainable solutions for brands, with strong evidence that consumers are very willing to switch to a brand with a cause.
In partnership with Conservation International, existing in both the U.S and Europe, MyWorld will likely continue to develop its product while finding product-market fit. Whilst in its early stages of this new phase, the app has great potential to grow with its innovative model that combines our digital lifestyles and reward-driven mind-sets with a cause that has universal impact.
