Company mission

To enhance human interactions in care settings.

Our take

It’s generally accepted that living in a care home can make people feel lonely and disconnected. Alongside this, the elder-health sector is most definitely not the front runner in digital features when it comes to operations. Answering both these issues is Myo, a communication app for care facilities.

Aptly named (Myo is short for Myosotis – Latin for the forget-me-not plant), the company supports communication between residents, staff, and families. Its easy-to-use app acts as both a portal to update families with messages and photos, and a tool to manage administrative communication tasks for the staff like ordering and planning.

Since founding in 2017, the company has grown to serve over 400 customers. Recent funding will allow Myo to grow its business in the DACH region and the UK, and continue to cement its place as a leader in communication for elderly care.
