Our take
The market for tattoo removal in the UK is growing. Around 40% of the population have at least one tattoo and of those, 75% regret getting a tattoo. Looking to address these pains is NAAMA, a developer of tattoo removal technology.
NAAMA's technology is designed to remove and fade tattoos quickly and with less pain than traditional methods. It also uses less energy than other systems, and works at a higher intensity so that ink molecules break apart faster and the process is shorter.
The result is that customers can remove tattoos faster and more painlessly, without any damage to the skin. After 10 years in stealth mode, as it conducted pre-clinical trials for its technology, NAAMA opened its studio in Marylebone in 2020 and has been operating there ever since.
