Our take

On the back of multi-billion dollar commitments from some of the world's biggest companies such as Microsoft and Royal Dutch Shell to decarbonize their businesses, NCX is aiming to connect every American landowner to net-zero pioneers.

A competitor to companies like Pachama, NCX partners with Microsoft's AI for Earth program creating Basemap which provides data for a holistic view of all the forest assets in the US. NCX's exchange platform offers landowners the opportunity to make money from keeping their trees rather than cutting them down.

NCX is creating a sustainable and attractive market for essential ecosystem restoration, precision forestry, and landscape regeneration. It does this through the purchase of carbon credits via its carbon marketplace - with benefits to landowners, corporations, and the sustainability of the earth.

Company values

  • Trust - Our #1 value at NCX is Trust. The emerging nature-positive economy is confusing. We cut through the noise and help landowners understand the pros and cons of different programs, so they can find the right one for them and their land
  • Execution - We’re a team that gets stuff done. Everyone is here because they believe in the mission. We value what works and know that good ideas can come from anywhere in the company. And yes, “Getting Things Done” is required reading around here
  • Exploration - We cannot solve the planet’s problems with the same thinking used to create them. We’re looking for people who share our good-spirited frustration with the way things are, as well as our passion for making things better. We ask the hard questions and relish the challenging answers
