Our take
As the Web 3.0 transformation continues, crowds of developers across the globe are turning to the blockchain to build their own decentralised apps. NEAR UA is a hub for Ukrainian blockchain enthusiasts and Web 3.0 developers who are building on NEAR – a layer-1 blockchain – to share ideas, build their community, seek jobs and accelerate development through collaboration.
The NEAR blockchain was built to empower creators and developers, acting as a base layer for dApps creation. NEAR UA, built by Ukrainian blockchain adherents, is a space for networking and collaboration where members are at work projects built atop NEAR such as GeekPay and Wombi. The company also hosts events, as well as supplying additional funding to startups working with NEAR.
Due to the war in Ukraine, NEAR UA has opened operations in Portugal to enable its community to continue to network and seek job opportunities. The company has launched several projects aimed at providing help and resources for Ukrainians moving and settling within the EU.
