Company mission

To empower people with the literacy skills they need to succeed in life.

Our take

The National Literacy Trust is dedicated to improving literacy skills across the UK, focusing on the transformative power of reading and writing. Through various initiatives, the Trust provides resources, training, and support to schools, families, and communities, ensuring that everyone has access to the tools needed to develop their literacy skills.

One of the Trust's key areas of work is its commitment to research, which informs its programs and advocacy efforts. The Trust develops targeted interventions and resources designed to address literacy challenges faced by different communities.

Since its establishment in 1993, the National Literacy Trust has achieved significant success in promoting literacy through the UK. It has built strong partnerships and launched impactful programs that have reached millions of children and families, and it continues to strive for a future where everyone has the chance to develop their literacy skills.
