Company mission

To bring the power of genetics to frontline environmental management.

Our take

Our relationship with mother nature has never been under more scrutiny, and that scrutiny is now entering the boardrooms of global companies. As organisations become more conscious of their impact on the environment, NatureMetrics helps to facilitate those vital conversations.

The company's focus is on biodiversity, using unique eDNA genetic analysis to report on how its clients operations affect the diversity of the world's wildlife. By enabling the same rigorous monitoring of biodiversity implications as, say, carbon emissions, NatureMetrics allows users to make positive changes and quantifiably prove net gains in biodiversity.

Capitalising on the need for high-quality environmental impact monitoring, it is hard to imagine a lack of demand for NatureMetric's solutions. A 2023 injection of funding, that will support increased digital capabilities, will enable the company to grow to meet this demand as it benefits from both heightened attention and new policy surrounding biodiversity concerns.
