Neara helps the utility industry create digital twins of their infrastructure networks so as to help predict potential problems and make better informed decisions.
Not only do the digital twins created by Neara help to prepare companies for weather emergencies, but they also act as a predictor of costs and value as more and more utility companies integrate renewables. The engineering costs and optimization of these systems are accelerated by Neara’s software, which can also be used as a geospatial tool for the virtual mapping of future infrastructure.
The company, built by an ex-Google engineer, has amassed considerable funding, expanded to the USA in 2021, and also has set its eyes on Europe. Its most recent fundraise is being used to expand its global footprint, with a special focus on the US, as well as broaden its platform functionality, including into new industries.
