Company mission

To build the leading prescribed digital platform that delivers clinical-grade neuro rehabilitation at home by employing gamification and AI.

Our take

Neurological injuries such as stroke, brain injury and spinal cord injury can all cause upper limb weakness and at times paralysis. Quality of life is heavily impacted and daily simple activities such as holding a glass of water or using cutlery is an impossible task for patients. The best chance to recover after a neurological injury is through intensive physio and occupational therapy, however because of tight resources and high costs of private therapies, many survivors are unable to fully recover to their full potential.

Neurofenix offers an affordable, engaging digital rehabilitation platform empowering neurological injury survivors to regain movement and independence. The platform provides comprehensive exercises adapted to ability and monitors engagement and performance over time to measure progress. It was developed with stroke survivors, their families, physicians and therapists.

Neurofenix was born out of Entrepreneur First and has been recognised as the UK leading engineering and social impact startup by the Royal Academy of Engineering, Nominet Trust and Innovate UK. Neurofenix is currently working with stroke associations, private clinics and the NHS to deliver their product.
