Engineering the world’s first GHG instrument to simultaneously reduce companies’ emissions and costs without offsetting.
Neutreeno is a ClimateTech company that was founded by graduates of the University of Cambridge’s Engineering department and focuses on lowering costs for and bringing B2B SaaS net zero solutions to UK companies without offsetting carbon emissions.
For many small businesses, decarbonising can mean their company loses out. Neutreeno claims to have created the first closed-loop emissions platform that can help these companies keep afloat and reduce their carbon footprint. With IPCC climate scientists and low-carbon tech engineers on board, Neutreeno’s belief that carbon offsetting is a mere sticking plaster for the growing threat of climate change has led them to tackle the challenge of true carbon reduction in business.
Finding sustainable solutions for manufacturing and tech companies is more vital than ever, recent data from the Office of National Statistics show that the main barrier for companies in reducing their carbon is its costliness. Neutreeno may be a small company but they’re already ahead of the curve in finding solutions that balance climate harm reduction and small business growth.
