To predict the stories and topics that will matter in the hours ahead, giving communications professionals the clarity they need for quick and confident decisions.
32% employee growth in 12 months
Until recently, media monitoring provided reports of what had been said about a company through social posts or news mentions that happened hours or even days ago, leading to insights only available well after the horse had bolted. By contrast, NewsWhip's real-time monitoring looks at stories, social posts, and the speed of engagement, giving immediate clarity on situations as they happen and confidence to decision-makers who must calibrate responses.
Brands have increasingly turned to real-time monitoring to quantify and understand the stories and narratives that they want to watch about themselves, and about political and social issues. NewsWhip's clients include major news brands Condé Nast, the Washington Post and Associated Press, as well as NGOs and corporate brands like McDonald’s, Pepsi and Ford.
Funding raised in early 2023 will be used to invest in the product, develop the provision of real-time insights, and also grow its team by up to 50 percent between 2022 and 24. The company is adding new roles in data engineering, software development, machine learning, and artificial intelligence.
