Our take
Animation is a tool that is widely used in many different forms today. You only need to look at the likes of Disney and DreamWorks - two industry and cultural giants - to see how engaging and impactful animation can be. The real beauty of animation, though, is its versatility. As well as being a means of creating blockbuster films, animation is also a highly effective tool in marketing, advertising and even education, thanks to its unique ability to communicate messages in a highly memorable way.
Nexus has been one of the major players in this industry since its founding in 2000. With work including Academy Award nominated animation, Grammy nominated music videos and triple Cannes Grand Prix winning commercials, Nexus has set itself apart as an independent production and animation studio. Key highlights so far include producing material for the BBC's 2020 Tokyo Olympics coverage and the creation of the Netflix anthology 'The House'.
Now, Nexus's strategy is focused around two key developments: Augmented Reality (AR) and the Metaverse. Its enduring strategy has always been to foster new creativity, and combining this with new tech will be central to continuing its strong position in the market.
