Company mission

To create high-performance, single-photon technologies that will predicate the future of quantum information processing.

Our take

The field of quantum computing has developed massively over the last few years, but there is still a way to go to make it valuable and scalable. Nu Quantum is a company supporting the advancement of quantum computing with a platform capable of improving the rate and fidelity of current quantum computers.

The current problem is that, in order for quantum computing to reach its full potential, it needs to run 100,000 to a million qubits as a single unit. Nu Quantum solves this problem by running smaller cores connected together in a network. This approach has attracted the likes of Airbus, The National Physics Laboratory, Arqit and BT (among others).

A particularly interesting part of its approach is that the platform is adaptable to any mode of qubit, making it useful to all developers independent of their qubit choice. Nu Quantum, therefore, is positioning itself to support quantum development as a whole, and guide the sector towards producing high-performance computers that can solve real world problems.
