OK.EK's mission is to become the world's go-to online fashion shopping marketplace for conscious consumers.
As conscious fashion consumerism continues its surge, OK.EK is aiming to become a leading marketplace to shop for affordable, ethical brands.
While the ethical e-commerce space is already competitive, with the likes of Eco-Stylist and Ethica performing very well, the projected growth of the ethical fashion market suggests there’s plenty of room for more new entries.
Something that may give OK.EK an edge is that its model is built on the idea of making shopping more efficient and less carbon emitting, through AI and a gamification aspect. This seems like a very solid foundation from which it can potentially grow, rather than simply being an outlet for ethical brands.
The startup is still in its very early stages, but with a rising market demand, as well as the record breaking levels of investment into ethical fashion, there’s plenty of cause for encouragement.
