To enable small companies to use creative digital advertising to grow their business - without having to engage an ad agency or design their own ads
Digital advertising is no longer just a nice-to-have. As consumers pivot online, it’s a must-do. However, solo entrepreneurs and small businesses (SMBs) don’t have the budget, expertise, or time to compete with enterprise digital teams. With SMBs making up a large majority of businesses at large, however, this means there’s a substantial market for digital advertising tools aimed at this group. That’s what OSSA is hoping to net.
Slated for launch in early 2023, OSSA is looking to develop a platform that allows SMB owners and solo entrepreneurs to automatically generate digital marketing. The result won’t just be easy-access and affordable graphic design: OSSA is aiming to incorporate ad science into the design algorithm too.
This, in theory, would give smaller businesses rapid access to the kind of top-tier content otherwise reserved for high budget teams. We know, too, from the success of adtech add-ons for sites like Hootsuite, that there’s a high SMB appetite for tools like this. It will be interesting to see if OSSA can appeal to it in a way that differs from rivals like Pencil, and automated advertising services more broadly.
