Making sense of it is the biggest challenge facing our connected world. Observable has created a platform to discover and learn data visualization techniques, with collaboration built in. The company believes working with data is an essential skill for everyone.
The Observable community is made up of hundreds of thousands of developers, data scientists, students and teachers. Creating and sharing work, helping the 4.7 million visitors understand the limitless potential of code.
The company, led by CEO Melody Meckfessel, former VP of Engineering at Google, is helping organizations to make decisions with data, including teams at Stitch Fix and classes at MIT that are working in Observable every day. The company has so far completed 3 rounds of series funding, the last of which is being used to fund growth and tech innovation.
