Company mission

To improve human rights and environmental conditions in and around factories and facilities by opening up supply chain data as a free, public good.

Our take

Open Supply Hub (OS Hub) is a free and open data tool mapping retail supply chains worldwide and allocating a unique ID to each. The tool is used by stakeholders across sectors to eliminate confusion and facilitate collaboration, enable interoperability across systems and tackle the long-standing industry problem of facility identification.

The industry has been in need of this open data for a long time. Open-source data platforms like OS Hub are being touted as a strong solution to the increasing due-diligence mandates dispensed to garment brands by regulatory and social pressures.

Testament to the strength of OS Hub's proposition is their long-term funding partnership with the Laudes Foundation, which going forward will help them expand their base of contributors worldwide. With plans to introduce paid services as well, OS Hub are establishing themselves as a vital, useful force in manufacturing.
