ESG targets are both of increasing moral concern to financial players, and according to some commentators, an indicator of above-average returns. That means that investors of all stripes are increasingly focused on understanding the impact of their ESG portfolios and using that information to make investment decisions that better align with their goals.
OpenInvest is an ESG-focused investing platform that uniquely dives deep into the data of its offered investments such that users can track the impact of their assets even down to the number of trees planted.
After a recent acquisition by JPMorgan, the platform is being integrated into JPMorgan’s Private Bank and Wealth management offerings. Despite the challenge of remaining inventive and cutting edge after its integration with the banking behemoth, OpenInvest has forged new and innovative partnerships in 2023 that include investment opportunities for young Australians, five new portfolios for investment through SparkInvest and digital investment services through Sydney-based Desk. All of this indicates not only a partnership push in the APAC but that OpenInvestment is maintaining its drive and creativity post-IPO.
