Our take
OpenSolar is a software company offering a free, all-in-one platform for solar installers, helping them streamline design, sales and project management.
Alongside its design tools, it recently introduced CashFlow, a payment system tailored to the solar industry. This tool automates invoicing, payment reminders, and reconciliation while cutting transaction fees by up to 20% compared to traditional providers.
Currently in open beta in the US, OpenSolar has big plans to start operating in the UK, Australia and Europe as well as a global rollout in 2025.
