Our take

This is where Opus One comes in. In a nutshell, Opus One is a software engineering and solutions company that helps utilities optimize energy planning, operations and market management using the advanced analytics software platform, GridOS®. By optimizing complex power flows, it allows utilities to unlock greater potential for distributed energy.
With renewable electricity growth accelerating faster than ever, the market is looking really strong for Opus One. To date, it has already built a strong consumer base, including big players like Portland General Electric and HydroOttowa, and with a highly scalable product its ambitions could push way further.
