Our take
As more people turn towards more flexible careers, so-called “portfolio careers” are on the rise, but it can be difficult for people to make the switch alone. The Portfolio Collective is a community of professionals supporting the launch and development of portfolio careers, by supplying access to professional advice, mentoring, and job opportunities.
The Portfolio Collective was founded in 2020. Since then, the company has helped thousands of users to network and develop their skills through its website, as well as hosting events and connecting members to startups and scaleups looking for talent.
The company will use funding to ramp up talent matching and expand its partnerships towards providing more discounts and work opportunities for users, as well as improving its platform to deliver a better desktop experience and a mobile app.
