Packlink is a popular B2B and B2C price comparison and package delivery platform that operates internationally, but is particularly active in Spain, Germany, France, and Italy. The company emerged in 2012, and thanks to partnerships with Ebay and PayPal, quickly became Spain’s largest shipping marketplace.
The company was acquired in 2021 by US-based Auctane, a market leader in shipping and fulfilment software which operates brands like ShipStation, Stamps.com, and ShipEngin. However, Packlink continues to operate as a standalone entity, still overseen by co-founder Ben Askew-Renaut.
With the new ownership comes a good amount of future-proofing for Packlink, who having already established themselves as a heavyweight company in Europe can now continue to consolidate their status.
