Parsec's mission is to make distance disappear. Whether you’ve always dreamt of working from a beach, plan to take your whole company remote, or want to play a game with faraway friends or family, Parsec’s tech makes it possible.
112% employee growth in 12 months
Remote connectivity is a highly desirable feature for computers, but existing options are limited. Remote computer access is generally focused on work or leisure, as opposed to being optimized for overall usage.
Parsec has created a desktop application that provides optimized and seamless interconnectivity for businesses and gamers alike. The software allows for customization in terms of codecs, resolution, and other optimization parameters, allowing the user to streamline remote access for their desired purposes.
Parsec was acquired by Unity in 2022 for $320 million, after it reached a total funding amount of $33 million. There are no plans to change the service, but this is the start of a deeper cloud push for Unity.
