Our take

Picnic Health was created after its founder Noga Leviner struggled to keep healthcare professionals in the loop regarding her health. She created the company to fix a broken system, making it easier for patients to access and manage their own medical health records and coordinate their own care.

As well as helping users take control of their data to better their own care journeys, it also allows them to consent to sharing their de-identified medical history to contribute to external research into their conditions. The company supports research in over a dozen diseases, extending its impact beyond only those who use the platform directly.

With tens of thousands of patients using the system, it is clear that Picnic Health is delivering a valuable tool. In 2023, it collaborated with pharma giant Roche to help advance research into Alzheimer's Disease and related conditions. And it has also raised a significant amount of capital that supports further innovation of the platform.
