Company mission

To inform, inspire change and empower people to be themselves.

Our take

The iconic PinkNews was founded to inspire change and empower people to be themselves. The UK-based online newspaper uniquely markets itself to the LGBTQ+ community.

PinkNews started as a side hustle for its CEO but has since found inordinate success partly off its deliberate appeal to a Gen Z audience through producing content targeting issues that resonate with a younger audience as well as curating a young team that reflects and represents its audience. However, most notably, since an innovative partnership with Snapchat Discovery in 2018, PinkNews has seen total revenues grow by 300% year-on-year.

Ever-increasing revenue has and will continue to see PinkNews scale up its operations and expand its team. Its ambition to grow is clear following its acquisition of LGBTQ+ audience digital targeting agency, Othervox, enabling the digital paper to scale up its advertisement offering and thereby reach a greater number of consumers.
