Company mission

Pledge's mission is to activate people, brands, and nonprofits to change the 🌍

Our take

Pledge’s fundraising platform allows brands and organizations to drive charitable initiatives. It is integrated with an impressive network of 2+ million verified nonprofits. Pledge aims to empower individuals, charities, and brands to drive donations towards a positive impact through fundraisers, cryptocurrencies, and Zoom virtual events.

Since its 2014 launch, the company has become a member of the UN Global Compact, Conscious Capitalism and Pledge 1%. Its newest addition to the platform, PledgeCrypto, allows nonprofits to accept crypto donations in more than 130 cryptocurrencies, including Bitcoin, Ether and Tether, and then turn them into fiat money. In 2022, Ariana Grande worked with Pledge to raise money for LGBTQ organizations, with the singer offering to match up to $1.5 million.

Pledge tracks the emissions per transaction of every cryptocurrency donation and retires carbon credits on an annual basis, based on their environmental impact. With such a large network of nonprofits, its use in high-profile campaigns, and its sustainability mindset, Pledge is working towards a leadership position in the market. It is a new all-time high for digital assets, and 2021 was the most successful year yet for crypto philanthropy, with crypto donation volume rising by 1,558%.
