Inefficiencies in traditional supply chains affect all businesses, but eCommerce is especially vulnerable. The eCommerce market relies on strong supply chains and low costs as its only source of delivery, which is why Portless has set out to streamline the process.

Portless operates with a unique supply chain model, having set up a fulfilment centre in China and a base of operations in the US, creating a direct link between the two. This model means that US and European brands purchase only what they need and ship their products directly to customers. This cuts out the middlemen, such as last-mile delivery operators and avoids wasted product manufacturing. In short, the streamlined supply chain saves money and time for both suppliers and their customers.

With almost 3 million packages shipped globally, 55 countries under its service and a pick and pack accuracy rate of 99.8%, Portless’s HQ - supplier synergy seems to be a winning model. Despite the threat of US tariffs, the company has enjoyed impressive Series A funding, which will help it expand its network across the US and Europe, invest in new technology and scale its team.
