To improve workplace inclusion and equity by combining the power of immersive learning with evidenced based curriculum and actionable insights.
8% employee growth in 12 months
Equitable inclusion and treatment is sadly still not a given in the workplace, despite improvements in the law and in expectations of working culture in recent years. Too often, efforts to change this are driven by those who’ve been marginalized, but Praxis Labs aims to flip this model with its top-down approach to cultural change in the workplace.
Founded by women of color, Praxis Labs uses VR technology to better educate workplace leaders - with the idea that if you can educate those who set the tone of a workplace environment, you change the whole environment. Using a wealth of evidence and immersive technology, leaders can take on either 6 or 12-month courses to better understand and (virtually) experience the difficulties many people face in the working world.
While other companies explore similar territory, Praxis Labs’ ability to help people literally step into others’ shoes sets them apart, and a wealth of high-profile clients like Amazon, Google, Uber and eBay demonstrate their pedigree. The company is well-funded, with the latest investment led by Accenture Ventures as part of its Project Spotlight initiative - which not only supplies funds but also access to Accenture’s enterprise clients, as well as the opportunity to co-innovate at its Innovation Hubs.
