Our take

Many software services exist to help manage a range of business areas, but the current landscape lacks end-to-end product management services. Companies must design, sell and provide services for their products, and digital assistance in these areas is severely lacking.

Propel provides a cloud-based platform for the end-to-end management of product design, aiming to support companies through the design, marketing, selling, and servicing of their products. The company provides services for any business product, with an interesting example being its work with wearable medical device companies to mitigate potential issues with the product and reduce the time and cost of compliance management.

Whilst other product life cycle management tools such as SAP and Oracle exist, these services are built on antiquated on-prem infrastructure and have only recently been converted to cloud services. Propel has approached the industry with a future-proof attitude of beginning and innovating within cloud-based solutions, which gives it an edge in the increasingly cloud-first environment.
