Pugpig was founded in response to the lack of a decent mobile publishing platforms. It addressed this gap by creating a system which was fully native - iOS and Android - and could also use the power of HTML and structured content: both of which had never been used for content delivery on mobile.
Through this, Pugpig aims to help publishers shape the future of the industry and bring it up-to-date. By working closely with customers to conceive, adapt, customise, and run its platforms, Pugpig allows clients to focus on their core business.
Users can publish their content widely with minimal effort, with Pugpig taking care of the technology so that publishers can focus on the content, while offering plenty of ways to monetise content, such as through membership, subscriptions, sponsorship, or advertising. It does this with its three products: Pugpig Site, Pugpig Publish, and Pugpig Bolt.
Since its founding in 2011, Pugpig now works with consumer magazines, B2B publishers, membership organisations, and news media. These include some of the biggest media brands in the world, including The Economist, Tortoise, Hearst, and News Corporation.
