To help developers from one-person startups to Fortune 500 teams produce high-quality code.
3% employee growth in 12 months
PullRequest offers code review as a service, helping teams deliver code faster, with higher quality, and at a lower cost. The company is a 2017 alumnus of the celebrated YCominator accelerator program, and enjoys additional backing from the likes of Google LLC.
They are helping remedy a twofold problem caused by code errors. Firstly, errors leading to sub-standard software is costly to the tune of nearly $2 trillion in the US alone, by one estimate. Secondly, the substantial time spent fixing minor errors diverts high-tier talent away from more valuable tasks. PullRequest is one of a number of companies offering a no-brainer solution.
An exciting development for PullRequest is their 2020 acquisition of Moonlight, a platform for hiring remote developers. The aim is to use data available through this platform to train algorithms that can fix common coding errors, further streamlining the process and driving down expenses. This acquisition was an ambitious move for a company founded in just 2017, but could see them make innovative progress in a market set to see healthy activity.
