Quix

Quix is a fully remote company with colleagues from across the globe and time zones. This means that we have a lot of flexibility in terms of place and time we work from enabling us to maintain a good balance between work and leisure.

Quix develops infrastructure for customers that solve problems at scale. This means that aspects such as high performance, security and reliability are core requirements of our platform. As a engineer at Quix, we get to experience and learn how these goals are achieved.

I find my colleagues are really intelligent and experienced in the domains they specialize in. This creates a really dynamic and vibrant intellectual environment for us to learn from each other and contribute in a productive way.

We are building something new and with lots of potential, and that's not simple! My job is creative, autonomous, hard, impactful, fast and always new. Challenging in a word! I had never had exposure to such an environment and I love it. If you enjoy what you do, this is what you want.

There's literally no office: no physical place where you are supposed to be. Everyone works remote from wherever they want, whilst meeting for some socializing in very fun places some times every year. I believe this is the future of working and I wouldn't settle for something different now that I've tried it!

Quix is a fast paced startup, that is at least doubling in people every year, getting very good investment and attracting very interesting customers. My projects, responsibilities and role keeps changing (in a good way!).

When I joined Quix 4 months ago, I immediately realised that there are so many learning opportunities for me. On the one side, I can learn from my incredible capable co-workers. On the other side, I learn so much by working hands-on on a variety of tasks. The founders encounter me with so much trust to do and decide things by myself, which leads to a massive learning curve.

If you have a great idea, you can be sure about one thing: The management will take the time to listen to it and give you every resource you need to get it implemented. Quix' culture is not about hiring executers, but smart thinkers that are given a lot of freedom to do what they are good at!

I appreciate how I can manage multiple tasks and I am entrusted with decisions regarding my area of expertise. Given how data driven we all are, I appreciate the how my team pushes me to grow further, with their support on the things I'm short for and with the gathered insights we move forward as a team.

You own your working hours here, and we all work asynchronously with each other. I'm more productive in the mornings and I get to choose my own focus hours, and delivery. You do what you need to deliver your work and it's not a necessity to sit at your desk "just because". Flexibility is what I really appreciate about the team.
