The design of offices is changing. The open-plan trend lasted years, pioneered by the big tech companies of today. However, post-pandemic offices now often represent a central, if irregular meeting point combined with a heavy dose of Zoom. ROOM is responding to the changing modern office requirements of today.
The startup is determined to expand its product range even further. Its vision is to become the modern office design company, taking on more than just the provision of sustainable meeting-rooms and phone booths, and instead have its products feed into every part of the office environment.
Perhaps the biggest challenge for ROOM compared to when they started is the decline in stature of the office. However, compared to traditional architecture outfits, it's in this uncertainty over the future of corporate physical spaces that ROOM’s adaptive approach may thrive.
