Our take
Raft is after the impressively large market of automating any ‘humdrum’ task in an enterprise context. By leveraging Optical Character Recognition and Natural Language Processing techniques, its technology provides massive savings to companies employing hundreds of data entry employees.
Astutely, Raft focused first on a narrow sector with large amounts of mundane, paper-based data processing - Freight Forwarding - where communication usually runs through emails and attachments. It's now expanded out to customs broking workflow automation. With a technically sophisticated team, Raft has signed up several of the world’s top 10 freight forwarders.
Since its launch, the company has grown exponentially. As Raft continues to evolve, its main focus is to add more value for customers in addition to its automation platform.
