Our take

As the mortgage industry becomes more and more automated, one process lagging behind is appraisal. Residential appraisals can take weeks, slowing down the path towards the largest purchase most people will ever make, and causing stressful wait times. Reggora’s platform leverages the latest technologies, to shorten appraisal workflow and open up this bottleneck in property purchasing.

Appraisal is an essential part of the house buying process, a requirement in most countries, and involves both mortgage lenders and appraisal vendors. Classically, it has been difficult for both ends of the operation to communicate with one another, especially if using different systems. Reggora’s platform is dual-sided, servicing both the lenders and vendors, to help automate payment processing, reviews, updates, and appraisal delivery. Additionally, it integrates with loan originating and point-of-sale systems to deliver seamless collaboration across all technologies that may be involved in an appraisal.

Reggora has made several important partnerships, including with leading data and fintech companies, to extend the capabilities of its products. The company has raised impressive funds which will be used to grow its team, invest in new integrations and expand its US presence.
