Our take

Events are a major part of any industry, and require a lot of logistics and organisation. Rentman has capitalised on the necessity and difficulty of events by building a software platform that supports the events and media production industry in managing their people and equipment.

Event management and production teams can use Rentmans cloud-based software to manage gear and crew, all from one central base of operations, with features including scheduling, invoicing, reporting and tracking. Thus, the many moving parts of an event are centralised and streamlined - whether for a corporate live streaming broadcast or a wedding.

Rentman’s 250,000 strong user base has spread to over 100 countries, evidencing the company’s savvy and vital niche in the event software market. A spinout from Utrecht University, the company remained bootstrapped up until 2023 when it raised an impressive funding round that will allow it to grow through acquisitions and develop more products.
