Our take
Resolution Games is a leading VR and AR games studio based out of Stockholm. Founded in 2015, its initial focus on traditional video games has pivoted with the rise of VR and AR gaming experiences.
Resolution has seen major success with its multiplayer role-playing game Demeo, originally built for VR headsets but ported to PS5 via the PlayStation VR2 headset in 2023. With ongoing updates and game modes being added, Demeo is Resolution’s flagship product.
That’s not to say that Resolution hasn’t had other successes. VR collaborations with the likes of Angry Birds and a back catalogue of Oculus Rift games have seen the company receive major gaming awards and finalist commendations. With VR and AR gaming quickly becoming more affordable, Resolution, bolstered by almost $40 million in investment, is set to continue its winning streak.
