Our take
Many managers still rely on complicated spreadsheets or cumbersome software to image their teams and resources. Resource Guru is a cloud-based team calendar designed to improve efficiencies at work. Their platform manages schedules and projects, as well as booking meeting rooms and project forecasting.
The business was developed because of the difficulties the founders faced while managing jobs for an agency’s digital department. The platform also has a focus on the benefits provided to employees’ wellbeing such as reducing excessive workloads, improving team morale and lowering employee churn.
Rsource Guru’s clients include enterprises such as Nasa, Ikea, the NHS, Saatchi & Saatchi, Vodafone, Intel, Roche and ASOS.

Our flat hierarchy speaks for itself. Every voice matters at Resource Guru; our thoughts are always welcome and valued even when the topic being discussed is not one we would usually be involved with. Slack is our main method of communication so our team comms are very transparent; everyone has visibility of what's being discussed elsewhere in the business and everyone is able to share their input whenever they have a contribution to make.

Outside of team stand ups and team meetings, I am trusted to manage my own workload and simply get on with it. Help and guidance is there if and when needed. This level of trust and autonomy means I have been able to do some of the best work of my life and really help build a great product.
