To power companies to build products that solve the most valuable problems for their customers.
A good product drives growth for a company, not only increasing sales and operational efficiency, but also helping software stand out in a market flooded with competitors. RevMap is looking to help companies develop good products, fast. It wants to do this by bridging the gap between product and sales teams, creating a feedback loop that accelerates product market fit.
The idea is to create a porous information boundary between the two teams that allows customer feedback conversations and detailed product data to be easily exchangeable. Then, collaboration is gameified via Slack - although details are spare on how this last element works in practice.
It’s certainly an interesting proposition from the young company. Product and engineering teams have become more closely integrated over recent years, accelerating the pace of software development - and closing the loop with sales could be a similarly profitable move.
