Our take
The shift towards a cleaner energy future continues, with renewable energy plans fast becoming the first choice for many. But the energy plans of the past, rarely tailored to consumers, remain the norm. Rhythm combats this with transparent, sustainable plans and customer service.
Founded in 2020, Rhythm began selling electricity in Texas in 2021. Since then, disruption in the energy markets has caused costs for consumers to skyrocket. The renewables sector has been affected by supply chain and cost challenges; however, it also saw increased interest and investment in recent years, and renewable energy plans could become more competitive in the near future.
Rhythm is set to expand in Texas, with a possibility for movement into other U.S. states. In recent years, the company has partnered with ZappyRide with a focus on electric vehicles, whilst 2023 debt funding from energy marketing company Engie sees Rhythm accelerate its expansion plans.
