Our take

Rise Art is an online art gallery selling carefully curated art pieces at affordable prices. Founded back in 2010, the company now boasts a large roster of featured artists working with a number of mediums including painting, sculpture, and photography.

The company takes special care to only feature the best and most interesting up-and-coming and mid-career artists. In one year, for example, it reviewed 20,000 artists and accepted less than 3% onto its website. By maintaining the quality of art it presents, Rise Art has secured a strong reputation with art lovers, which is part of the reason its popularity has remained high.

In order to grow the brand, it seems the company has begun to target consumers outside of the art world, with resources that encourage people outside of the community to get to know art. One example of this is its "Art Personality Test" that claims to help people "find out what your visual preferences say about you", and in turn suggests what types of art on the website will appeal to their tastes.
