Found in 2009, Rockbot started out in small bars and restaurants as a way for companies to monetize their sound systems, but has siunce expanded into a solution for all businesses who want to manage their brand image. With a library of 16 million songs, a system for delivering branded messaging within the music and a centralized digital signage and TV content system all controlled from a single dash, it replaces a plethora of other services such as Pandora Business and set-top box broadcasters with a cheaper and simpler alternative.
Rockbot has grown a large client base of enterprise companies such as McDonalds, Neiman Marcus and Panera Bread, and is continuing to further develop its product range. It is primarily taking aim at pay TV operators, taking advantage of the proliferation of cheap widescreen displays to disrupt their pay-per-screen charging model and capture a good chunk of their market share.
