Our take

Rockport’s software product suite runs a broad gamut, offering debt and equity solutions to players across the board from property investors, to insurance companies, ratings agencies, and a broad spread of lenders including agricultural, transitional, portfolio and conduit.

The company has over 1.5T in closed loans under active management on the platform, and boasts a client list that includes dozens of top-tier institutions including Barclays, Fannie Mae, Citi, and Cushman & Wakefield.

This means that in spite of the substantial challenges the sector is facing in the wake of the pandemic period’s overhaul of commercial property use, Rockport is in a strong position to weather the storm.

Previously founded Lewtan, Rockport Funding, and Trepp - where he served as Founder/Director for nearly three decades. Is also the Director for Avenues for Justice and the National Scholastic Chess Foundation.
