Errors are unavoidable obstacles that developers of software and websites experience on a daily basis. These errors are generally outlined within logs and e-mails, but this data comes in massive quantities and is difficult to manage.
Rollbar provides a platform for developers that focuses on tracking and managing errors. The platform stores each error within its history, allowing developers to identify when an error has occurred in the past and how it was solved. In addition to this, Rollbar provides visual insights into the severity of an error, the employee that caused it, when it occurred, and other essential data points.
Error management is certainly nothing new, but Rollbar has approached the function in a unique manner by developing a platform that provides context and clarity into code issues. The startup claims that its error-tracker will reduce the amount of time developers spend on tackling errors by outlining recurring issues and identifying when and how the problem arose.
