Company mission

Ruroc's mission is to revolutionise the motorcycle protective gear industry.

Our take

Interest surged in motorcycles following the easing of lockdown measures. In the U.K. new motorcycle registration was up over 30% from the previous year, and Europe and Asia are reporting similar patterns. So it’s no surprise that moto-gear became big business too. The company’s ski, snowboard, and motorcycle protective gear shot to prominence over this period, with the company reporting over 5x growth since its founding, and with sales shipping to over 100 countries.

Ruroc's high-quality and well-timed product offerings has netted it a strong customer base. Ruroc claims to be the only D2C brand in the industry, and whilst this may not remain the case for long, it certainly gave the company an edge over rivals whose sales will have been hobbled by the closure of brick-and-mortar stores.

They continue strengthening their brand with much-hyped product updates, including a rider communications app, demonstrating a savvy ability to leverage their blooming global reputation. If they can maintain the same scalability they demonstrated over the tough pandemic period, they look set to make a real impact.
