Our take
RwHealth provides healthcare analytics and information services to more than 70 providers across England, Ireland, Scotland, Australia and the US. RwHealth provides a suite of more than 22 enterprise and mobile applications which are built on the Qlik platform.
In recent years, RwHealth’s AI tech played an important role to help UK hospitals prevent bed shortages and solve waiting list issues which were posing a serious threat to the NHS' ability to timely treat those in need. By effectively anticipating patient flow in hospitals, RwHealth has seen significant growth since 2019, mirrored by the wider growth of AI in healthcare.
NHSX, which drives the digital transformation of health and social care in the UK, announced a £250 million investment in September 2020, aimed at injecting more AI technology into the UK healthcare system. Some of this money will be used to help RwHealth to help scale up across the UK and internationally in the future.
