To help farmers make better everyday decisions for a more comfortable approach to work, better yield, and more control over their environmental impact.
Farmers used to tend to their crops manually, touring and spraying their yield systematically to avoid any potential diseases, due to the time taken and the environmental impact caused, the cost of these operations was incredibly high.
But now the world is in the era of smart agriculture, with Sencrop providing farmers with weather stations that provide them with real-time weather and crop data remotely. This data is allowing farmers to make more informed decisions on managing their crops, streamlining their daily tasks and in turn, helping them better care for their crops while also boosting productivity and reducing cost.
The French startup has held multiple successful funding rounds that has allowed it to expand its network of weather stations and its user base. Sencrop now serves over 20,000 farmers across several European countries, including France, Germany, Italy, Spain, the Netherlands, and the UK. Following its latest funding round, Sencrop is now focused on launching in North America and other overseas markets while also strengthening its existing footprint within Europe.
