SPOKE is on a mission to improve the mental health of young people through music.
Ariana founded SPOKE after learning that 80% of 15-30 year old suicides are male. Believing that the one industry that has the tools to help – wellness – is only designed for older, middle-class women, she set out to build a platform that would fight for mental health through music.
The app itself combines Spoken Word lyricism and meditation with ambient Lo-Fi and Hip Hop music. The platform is still in development, ahead of a public release.
The market for meditation apps is becoming increasingly crowded – with heavyweights like Calm and Headspace dominating the space. However, few target a specific issue as closely as SPOKE. By sticking to their mission, this team is poised to have a meaningful impact on its users lives, by making meditation more accessible and appealing for young people.

I've learnt so much since my tenure in SPOKE. I've known how to create music and proliferate it for some years, but working here has opened me up to understanding new methods. We've transcended the normal boundaries of music making and are in a completely new terrain. Aside from the music, we have a company ethos of everyone taking the initiative to grow into & find respective incentives.

When we're on, we're truly on, when it's time to sit back and reflex (relax & reflect) we make sure that happens. We as the music team have created and released 7 hours of content within the space of a few months (see that as 7 hours), our ceo/coo have managed to secure funding/investment more expeditiously then ever and we're forever growing a strong work ethic.
