Our take
The healthcare system in the US can be confusing for individuals with English as their second language, they need greater support and attention. SameSky Health provides healthcare engagement solutions for multicultural individuals. It uses technology and cultural insights to improve patient care, lower costs and increase revenue for health plans, government programs, and at-risk providers.
For example, in many Spanish-speaking countries, doctors are familiar with the families of patients and address their emotional care as well as their physical needs. When a US doctor fails to show this same level of attention, it can be confusing and upsetting for Hispanic patients. SameSky Health provides an engagement solution by pairing Hispanic patients with healthcare providers who can offer the level of care they desire.
Looking ahead, SameSky Health plan to increase its engagement further and partner with more organizations and produce tangible changes for underserved communities.
