Sanctuary Health was founded by recent university graduates who believe that the way diseases are communicated to patients needs to change. The company creates health content, which is then licensed to health businesses who can then provide their users and patients with a better education on their conditions.
The new-wave innovation of these young founders is to their credit. Crucially, the content is designed to cater to the outcomes of the patients and is clinically accurate. However, Sanctuary Health offers information that is understandable to the masses, given the history of doctors providing information in complicated and inaccessible terms, as well as via video formatting that feature diverse faces - regarding age, gender and ethnicity - so as to appeal to and serve a wider range of patients.
Sanctuary's content has already been shown to over 2 million people around the world and pre-seed funding will likely be invested into developing the product as well as securing more partnerships with global health companies to help their customers and patients.
